Triton10
Demo Description: This demo showcases four Triton10s (24.5MP, Sony IMX530 CMOS) running simultaneously. The cameras are connected to LUCID’s 4-port PoE+ 10GiGE RDMA network interface card. One of the Triton10 units has the GPIO connected to a breakout board, which is connected to an external trigger that turns the camera on and off.
Atlas25
Atlas25 – 25 Gigabit Ethernet with RDMA paired with Sony’s 4th generation Pregius S CMOS sensors. This camera features a 17-pin M12 GPIO and an Integrated optical transceiver for a direct LC connection, cutting costs and simplifying installation while maintaining a compact camera size with 25GigE connectivity. The Atlas25 also provides Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA). RDMA allows Atlas25 cameras to send image data directly to a PC’s main memory without involving the CPU or OS. This means the CPU and OS no longer need to spend resources managing the data transmission, freeing up CPU resources for other tasks.
Demo Description: The Atlas25 25GigE camera is streaming to LUCID’s 2-port 25GigE RDMA network interface card. The camera is aimed at colorful flowers to highlight the sensor’s color performance along with the 25GigE highspeed framerate.Â
Triton
LUCID is set to introduce the first member of its intelligent vision camera family, the Triton® Smart camera featuring Sony’s IMX501 intelligent vision sensor with AI processing. The Triton Smart is an easy-to-use, cost-effective intelligent vision camera capable of outputting inference results alongside regular 12.3 MP images for every frame. Its on-sensor AI processing reduces data bandwidth, alleviates processing load on the host PC, and minimizes latency.
Demo Description: The Triton SMART is tracking and classifying different fasteners on a rotating table. The AI model training and live display is executed through Neurala Brain Builder.Â
Triton2 EVS
The Triton2 EVS event-based 2.5GigE camera, powered by Sony’s IMX636 or IMX637 vision sensor and our Arena® SDK as well as PROPHESEE’s Metavision® SDK, is designed to deliver enhanced performance, lower power consumption, and greater flexibility for machine vision applications. It is ideal for motion analysis, vibration monitoring, object tracking, optical flow, autonomous driving, and high-speed detection. Learn more at our Triton2 EVS product page.
Demo Description: The Triton2 EVS is aimed at a water whirlpool tower with floating particles. The camera streams to a PC running Prophesee’s Metavision® software, which is executing the spatter monitoring code example to track the floating particles.
Atlas10 45MP (8K)
The Atlas10 camera – 10GigE camera family is welcoming a new high-resolution model featuring the 45-megapixel (8192 x 5460) onsemi XGS45000 CMOS global shutter image sensor, capable of running at 16 fps. This RDMA-enabled camera offers a unique combination of high resolution, high frame rate, and superior image quality, making it well-suited for applications such as flat panel inspection, aerial surveillance, mapping, and electronics inspection.
Demo Description: The Atlas10 10GigE camera is streaming to LUCID’s 2-port 10GigE RDMA network interface card. The camera is aimed at colorful flowers to highlight the sensor’s high resolution. In addition, an EO 35mm LH Series TLF-II lens was mounted to maximize the optical path of the 35mm sensor.
Triton2 4K Line Scan
The Triton2 camera featuring Gpixel’s GL3504 CMOS provides a cost-effective 4K (4096 x 2 px) line scan camera with 2.5GigE bandwidth. The Triton2 is a Factory Tough camera with robust M12 and M8 connectors. All Triton2 units go through active sensor alignment during manufacturing, providing crisp and clear images.
Demo Description: The Triton2 4K line scan camera is imaging a rotating canister with various barcodes printed on it. The camera is connected to a PC running MVTec HALCON software to detect and decode the barcodes.
Helios2 Narrow
Helios2 Narrow utilizes a more focused illumination to generate real-time 3D point cloud data with excellent accuracy and precision. This ensures sharper and more refined point clouds, delivering exceptional performance for targets in a narrow field-of-view (FoV). All Helios2 models provide IP67 protection and come factory calibrated and ready to use.
Demo Description: The Helios2 Narrow, Helios2+, and Helios2 Wide are running live point clouds of the scene. All three 3D cameras are aimed at the box of objects to demonstrate the different field of views (FoV) that each model provides.Â
Triton2 SWIR
Introducing the Triton2 – 2.5GigE IP67 SWIR cameras featuring Sony’s IMX992 and IMX993 SenSWIR sensors. These sensors deliver high-performance imaging in the short-wavelength infrared (SWIR) spectrum, boasting a resolution of 5.2 megapixels for IMX992 and 3.2 megapixels for IMX993. LUCID will be showcasing a live demo of the TRT053S-WC with the 5.2 MP IMX992 sensor at VISION 2024. Learn more about our SWIR cameras here.
Demo Description: The Triton2 5.3MP SWIR (No TEC) is shown alongside the Atlas 1.3MP SWIR (with TEC) camera. Both cameras use dual wavelength SWIR ring lights. The ring lights switch wavelengths to show different imaging results from the targets. The targets shown are white powders, coffee beans, and paper currency.
